Armature Works is a 2.43-acre redevelopment site adjacent to the NoMa-Galludet U. Metro stop in the emerging NoMa neighborhood of the District of Columbia, and is conveniently located between Union Market and H Street, two of the most popular retail and entertainment districts for millennials in the city. Once completed Armature Works will serve as the hub of residential and retail life in the NoMa neighborhood, while linking NoMa to Union Market and H Street.
Our current concept plan calls for 450 apartment units, 200 condominium units, 50,000 square feet of ground floor retail, and a 200-room hotel. These components will be woven together by a series of urban open spaces and pocket parks totaling approximately 46,000 square feet. Components of the open space will be a large public plaza that provides a location for a future pedestrian tunnel that will connect directly to the NoMa-Galludet U. Metro stop, and a public plaza along M Street across from the Uline Arena.
